This in-person, immersive training offers a retreat-like experience where attendees engage in guided meditation, experiential practice, and dyadic learning. Going beyond theory and research, this workshop provides practical protocols, hands-on learning, and experiential exercises to help you easily integrate Mindful Hypnosis into both your professional and personal practice.

Unlike virtual or self-paced courses, this interactive training provides mindful respite, skill development, and mentorship from Dr. Liz Slonena, co-creator of Mindful Hypnosis. The workshop setting embodies mindfulness for professional growth and personal renewal, cultivating techniques that benefit both you and your clients.
Learning Objectives:
- Define the core principles of Mindful Hypnosis.
- Identify three similarities between mindfulness and hypnosis.
- Evaluate the clinical implications of research on the effects of Mindful Hypnosis practices for stress reduction.
- Define the three-session and eight-session Mindful Hypnosis protocols.
- Understand the underlying principles of Mindful Hypnosis that support adaptation for clinical populations including ADHD, chronic pain, and PTSD.
- Utilize three Mindful Hypnosis inductions to invoke a mindful trance.
- Identify techniques, including mindful suggestions, deepeners, post-hypnotic suggestions, and mindful inquiry, to guide a Mindful Hypnosis experience.
- Define how three hypnotic phenomena – quiet ego strengthening, age regression, and future projection - can be used to address clinical symptoms.
- Identify clinical presentations where use of Mindful Hypnosis may be useful or contraindicated.
- Understand informal mindfulness techniques to overcome barriers to practicing meditation.
- Utilize "The Light Within" induction for Mindful Self Hypnosis to mitigate compassion fatigue.
- Determine how Mindful Hypnosis can enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

We are returning to an in-person Spring Workshop at a favorite location, Hilton Melbourne, 200 Rialto Place, Melbourne, Florida. The workshop will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, and FSCH will provide a buffet luncheon to registrants on Saturday. Eligibility
Health professionals holding doctoral degrees in medicine, dentistry, podiatry and psychology, or doctoral or masters degrees in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or nursing, licensed in the state in which they practice; degree graduates receiving documented clinical supervision toward licensing, and graduate students in eligible disciplines with documentation of their student status from the Chairperson of their graduate program. All registrants must have completed the ASCH-approved Level 1 workshop.
Continuing Education Credit
We offer 12 Florida CEU's for licensed psychologists under 490 (Provider #50-774, Exp. 5/26); clinical social workers, mental health counselors, and marriage and family therapists under 491 (Provider #50-774, Exp. 3/27), and all our workshops count toward ASCH certification requirements. We automatically report to CEBroker.
